Willis "Frog" Kilgore, 89, of Brownsburg, formerly a Rush County area resident, passed away November 14, 2017 in Brownsburg. He was born June 3, 1928 in Marion Co., KY to Elmer & Lucy (Farmer) Kilgore. He married Kathleen Ronan on February 1, 1963 and she survives.
Willis retired as branch manager in 1993 after 40+ years with Rush County Farm Bureau Co-op. He was a member of the Rushville Church of Christ. Willis enjoyed attending basketball games and golfing with his friends.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen, of Brownsburg, he is survived by a son, Keith (Karen) Kilgore of Greenwood, daughters, Janet (Patrick) O'Dea of Grapevine, TX, Melissa (Matthew) LaGrange of Grapevine, TX, Amy (Jeff) Dalverny of Indianapolis, step son, Jay Piles of Rushville, a brother, Joseph Edwin Kilgore of Indianapolis, sisters, Judy Sedam of Bakersfield, CA, Martha Jones of Rushville, Mary (Herman) Oetjen of Indianapolis, Barbara (Paul) Kent of Covington, IN and Carol Jones & Freda Linville both of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Shannon (Sean) Ferguson, Mike (Taryn) O'Dea, Lucas & Ellie LaGrange, Tucker, Emily & Natalie Kilgore and Kendall & Leah Dalverny and a great grandson, Carver O'Dea. In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Price and brothers, Philip, Kenneth & Donald Kilgore.
Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Fred Hickman will preside. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 10 AM until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Goddard Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville Church of Christ or to the Donor's favorite charity.
