Tim's Story

Tim Carter, 61 of Glenwood, passed away on January 2, 2018 while working in Ohio. He was born on December 31, 1956 in Rushville to the late Barbara Keal. Tim was a mechanic most of his life before he became a truck driver. For the last 17 years he owned and operated Big T Trucking. Tim was a SEABEE in the US Navy and the Army National Guard. Tim was also part of the Patriot Guard Riders. He was a car, truck and motorcycle enthusiast.
Tim is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer (Ethan) Hill of Shelbyville and son, Ethan Carter of Rushville; girlfriend, Tammy Eller; brother, Ronnie (Sandy) Dunn of Laurel; sister, Bonita Smith of Laurel. He is also survived by his loving grandson, Gatlon Hill and one on the way.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Mike Hedrick presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 12:30 PM until the time of service. Burial will be held in Orange Cemetery. The Rush County Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors.
