Joe Catt, 71 of Brownsburg passed away November 14, 2017 peacefully in his son's home with family at his side.
He was born October 20, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana. Joe served in the U. S. Army from 1967-1973 serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He retired from Customs and Border Protection in 2011 as a supply supervisor and remained great friends with his colleagues. Joe had a fantastic zest for life. He loved his country, sightseeing, traveling with his wife, boating, fishing, your Indiana State fair, Christmas, hunting with his sons and grandsons, and spending as much time with his family as possible. He was a member of NRA, VFW, American Legion, and disaster relief teams for hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ike.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Linda; his three sons, Thomas, Jr (Michelle), Daniel Denison (Lesley) and Christopher Denison (Stacy); stepson Trent Steed (Meganne Wecker); sisters Judy Miller (Don) and Sharon Collins; grandsons Calvin, Ethan, Aidan, Joey Denison, Sam Addison, William and Paige Denison, Meredith and Ella Steed, as well as many adoring nieces. Preceding him in death are his parents, Betty and Wilfred Catt; his brother Lynn Catt; his children Katrina, Tanya, and Tommy Joe.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 17 at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory with military honors starting the service. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
