Scott A. Maple, 30, of Las Vegas, passed away October 25, 2018 in Las Vegas. He was born May 19, 1988 in Shelbyville to Greg & Edith "Chelly" (Smith) Maple. Scott was a 2006 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and served many years in the US Army Reserves.
Scott had lived the last 6 years in Las Vegas where he worked securtiy at the Tropicana and most recently bartended at the Wyndham Resorts Casino.
He was a member of Main Street Christian Church in Rushville, an American Legion Post member and member of the Bartender's Union #165 in Las Vegas.
Scott is survived by his parents, Greg & Chelly Maple of Rushville, grandmother, Peggy Proffitt of Rushville, sister, Audrey (Gregory) May of McCordsville, a niece, Annabelle May and nephews, Matteo & Isaac May. He was preceded in death by grandparents, George & Freda Maple.
Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 in Main Street Christian Church in Rushville with Pastor Chip West presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until service time on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Christian Church, the Rush County Veteran's Memorial Association or to the Verve Church -7850 S. Dean Martin Dr. #503, Las Vegas, NV. 89139.
