Nancy S. Orme Nancy S. Orme, 84 of Rushville, passed away on January 14, 2019 in Rushville surrounded by her family. She was born on January 20, 1934 in Rushville to the late Morris R. and Laura (Jordan) Howell. Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Rushville High School and then attended Miami of Ohio University. She married Robert E. Orme on December 30, 1960 and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2014. Nancy was a lifetime member of Main Street Christian Church and also was active in Tri Kappa for many years. She will always be remembered for her green thumb in the garden.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Gregory Shawn & wife Michelle (Gotwals) Orme of Arlington, Robert Brett & wife Michele (Biddle) Orme of Rushville and Stephen Blair & wife Natasha Orme of Rushville; her grandchildren, Justin & wife Samantha Orme, Hillary & husband Trevor Sellers, Hannah Orme, Callista & husband Cassidy Laux, Hunter Orme, Michaela Orme, Alexander Orme and Macey Orme; great grandchildren, Tegan Orme, Addison Orme, Kenzie Orme, and Lucien Laux. She will also be missed by her brother, Monty (Beverly) Howell of Rushville and Peggy Green of Florida.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Jim Darnell presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 4PM-7PM at the mortuary. Burial will be held in East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rush County Animal Shelter, Main Street Christian Church, or to Tri Kappa.
