Mark D. Seever, 58, a longtime Fayette County resident passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Rushville. Mark was born in Fayette County on Feb. 8, 1958 to Grover Henry Seever Jr. and Betty Ann Seever. Betty survives.
Mark was a 1979 graduate of Connersville High School after serving in the U.S. Army from 1975 to 1977. Mark lived in Fayette County most of his life and has lived in Rushville since 2012. Mark worked as a telemarketer in Indianapolis for 25 years and also for Sears. Mark was a member of Rushville's First Southern Baptist Church. He loved basketball, music and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan. He also loved his little dog Ellie.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Seever of Rushville; a brother' Gary Lee Seever of Connersville; 4 nieces, Lacy Nichole Spears, Emily Gail Seever, Cassidy Ann Seever and Tiffany Welsh; and a great niece, Grace Elizabeth Spears.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Grover Henry Seever Jr., and a brother, David Seever.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Rev. Jeff Edwards will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the mortuary that same day. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery in Connersville.
