Lucille  Hahn
(Mary) Lucille Hahn passed away Dec. 26, 2018 at Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville, IN. at the age of 92.
She was born July 2, 1926 to Aloysius (A.J.) and Marie (Leising) Meyer in Noble Township, Rush County, IN. and graduated from New Salem High School in 1944. Lucille married Marlin Bernard Hahn on Sept. 6, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2001 after 54 years of marriage.
Prior to entering the nursing home, Lucille lived her entire life in Rush County where she was an active member of Saint Mary Catholic Church, Sodality, and the Home Ec club. She was employed as a cook by the Rushville Consolidated School system for several years during the 70's and 80's. She and Marlin were also active in the agricultural community and enjoyed traveling with other Farm Bureau members. Her real joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lucille and Marlin had two sons - Stephen (Christine) and Michael (Jalene); four grandchildren - Michelle (David) Cummings, Lindsey (David) Allen, Christopher and Alexander Hahn; and five great grandchildren - Andrew, Caroline, and Cole Cummins, and James and Nicholas Allen.
In addition to her offspring, Lucille is survived by two brothers -James and Edward (Connie) Meyer; and a sister-in-law Margherita Meyer.
Besides her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by two brothers - Robert and Donald Meyer; a sister, Mildred (Meyer) Hoeing; three brother-in-laws - Wilbert and Lester Hahn, and Marvin Hoeing; and four sister-in-laws Claudia and Judith Meyer, Mary Hahn, and Louise Childers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Dec. 31, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Rev. James Brockmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville's Cemetery. Friends may call form 4-8 PM Sunday Dec. 30th at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory where all are invited to pray the rosary at 3:45 PM.
