On Monday, June 26, 2017, Jared Lee Chance passed away suddenly at the age of 29 years at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL.
A loving brother and son, Jared will be forever remembered by his mother Michelle (Hull) Scudder, his father and stepmother David and Dawn Chance, his sisters and brother, Taylor, Brooklyn and Kyle, and by his niece, Charlotte. Jared will also be dearly missed by his grandmother, Janice Hull and his grandparents Joe and Rosie Chance, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
As a child, Jared grew up in Rushville, Indiana, and later spent his teenage years in Greensburg, Indiana. He eventually moved to Clermont, Florida, where he spent the last few years of his life surrounded by friends and doing what he loved: spending time enjoying the outdoors and salt water fishing.
Jared was deeply cared for by many, and was known for his big heart, beautiful smile and generous attitude. While his life on earth was short, his positivity and warmth touched everyone he met. He was a great friend to all, especially in a time of need and enjoyed spending time with his family.
A celebration of Jared's young life will be held from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 in the Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, IN. Pastor Jeff Alexander will preside.
