Glenda A. Fraley Glenda A. Fraley, 74, a lifelong Rush County resident, passed away February 6, 2019 at her home in Rushville. Glenda was born September 2, 1944 in Rush County to Loren & Irma (Adams) Geise. She was a 1962 graduate of Manilla High School. Glenda married Lincoln W. Fraley on April 31, 1987 and he survives.
Glenda retired from Trane Corporation in 1990 after 19 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rushville where she served on the kitchen committee. Glenda was active with the Seed Circle at Rush Memorial Hospital and served on the Gideon's Auxillary.
In addition to her husband, Lincoln W. Fraley, of Rushville, she is survived by her children, Stephen R. Browning of Rushville, Douglas K. Browning of Andersonville, Jeffrey L. (Sheila) Browning of Glenwood, Bart L. (Brittney) Fraley of Dunreith, Carrie L. (Tony) Giletto of College Station, TX., and Connie S. Seymour of Terre Haute, a sister, Janet (Duane) Wilson of New Palestine, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Niehoff and her brother, Jerry A. Geise.
Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Rushville First Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Richardson presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 3-7 PM Sunday, February 10 at the Rushville First Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon's Society or to the Rush Memorial Hospital Foundation/Emergency Department.
