Frances Ralstin, 87 of Rushville, passed away at her home on August 14, 2017. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Jackson County, KY to the late Robert and Sara (Davidson) Abrams. Frances married Wayne T. Ralstin on March 23, 1951 and he precedes her in death on December 23, 1993. She and her husband Wayne farmed the Ralstin Farms in Rush County from 1952 to 2017. Frances worked at International Furniture for over 43 years as a panel maker, button maker, mattress maker, and also as a seamstress.
Frances was a long time member of the Andersonville Christian Church. She loved to garden and help on the farm.
Frances is survived by her great nephew, Gary (Stephanie) Stewart of Rushville; 2 brothers-in-law, Phil (Nora) Ralstin of Rushville, Ed Ralstin of TN, 2 sisters-in-law, Josephine Taylor or Rushville, Mary Bell of Woodstock, GA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Frances is preceded in death by her sister, Stella Stewart and brother, Roy Abrams.
Services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Pastor Rich Ralstin will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 5-8 PM Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the mortuary. Memorial Contributions may be made to Andersonville Christian Church or the Rush County Cancer Society.
