Frances Priddy, 83, a longtime Rushville resident, passed away November 5, 2017 in Rushville. She was born January 18, 1934 in Bedford to Vet & Mabel (Stevens) Webster. Frances was a 1951 graduate of Bedford High School. She married Robert L. Priddy on August 30, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2017.
Frances owned & operated Priddy Fabrics in Rushville for 30 years. After retiring from Priddy Fabrics she helped Bob at First Credit many years. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rushville. Frances had a large extended family, commonly referred to as her "Tribe". She enjoyed being involved in all their activities and watching them all grow.
She is survived by her daughter, Deby Priddy of Rushville, her sisters, Madie Allen of Bedford and Nancy (Charles) Harden of Bloomington, several nieces, nephews, cousins and members of the "Tribe". In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie, Jay & Jim and sisters, Helen & Rosie.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Cresthaven Cemetery in Bedford. There will also be a service at 6 PM Friday evening, November 10, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary on Friday evening from 4-6 PM. Rev. Roy Ice will preside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Community Foundation-Robert Priddy Fund.
