Elizabeth worked at Ford until she retired in 1993.
Elizabeth enjoyed watching humming birds and singing. She was very social in that she never met a stranger. Most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and being with her grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by four daughters, Vickie (Stephen) Baker of Spiceland, IN, Penny Bates of Petoskey, Michigan, Diana (Cecil) Bell of Cambridge City, IN and Rena Faye (Donnie) Richardson of Greenfield, IN; two sons, Steven Ford of Richmond and Jeffrey Ford of Arlington, IN; three sisters, Vivian Robinson, Betty Kielman and Martha Elliott; 9 grandchildren, Amanda Noah, Stephanie Smith, Belinda Leavitt, Rebecca Ruff, Michael Bell, Craig Bell, Christopher Bell, Amy Boyd, Michelle Kunkle; 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Ollie "Junior" Fryman; two sisters, Ruth Laypool and Christine Mitchell; a son-in- law, Jim Bates; and a grandson, Doug Ford.
Visitation for Elizabeth will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th Street, Connersville. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
