Donald H. Ryle


Donald H. Ryle, 76 formerly of Rush County, passed away on July 10, 2019 in Tennessee. He was born on October 19, 1942 in Lawrenceburg, IN to the late Harold L. and May Rose (Ensminger) Ryle. Donald was a graduate of Milroy High School. He married Barbara (Harris) Ryle on June 14, 1968 and she survives. Donald was a Military Certified Welder for aircraft's in the Vietnam War. Donald retired in 2000 from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service as an Engineer Supervisor. He enjoyed boating on the lake and living in Florida during the winter. Donald loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David Todd Ryle of Houston, TX; daughters, Tracey Haste of Lisbon, IN and Marcy Dee Ryle of Florida; sisters, Judy Baskerville of Poland, IN, Betty Jean Harrison of Waldron, IN, and JoAnn Cox of Rushville, IN; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Robert Ryle.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Bruce Pierce presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 4PM -8 PM in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Moscow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to American Cancer Society.

Donnie was a classmate of mine and a brother to my sister-in-law, Joann Cox. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was a great guy and will be missed by many.
