Cynthia A. Downs


Cynthia A. "Cindy" Downs, 59 of Rushville, passed away on July 14, 2019. She was born on November 29, 1959 in Rushville to the late Thomas and JoAnna (Davis) Downs. Cindy was a 1979 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. Cindy was a member of the Wesleyan United Methodist Church and loved singing in the choir for many years. She worked at the Salvation Army and Shares Inc. in Rushville. Cindy truly enjoyed volunteering around Rushville to help people.
Cindy is survived by her siblings, Charles Eugene Davis of Columbus, IN, Lawrence Eugene (Mary) Davis of Maryland, Thomas Henry (Mary) Downs of Rushville, John Edward Downs of Rushville, James Curtis Downs of Kentucky, and Rene Marie Mooney of Shelbyville. She will also be missed by many nieces and one nephew.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Rev.'s Mary Downs and Elaine Stewart presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Friday morning at the mortuary from 11 AM until time of service.

We will miss you Cindy. You were one of the "old gang" on the 'hill". You are no longer sick, dance all over heaven and tell all our "gang" hello and tell them how much we love and miss them. ya ....
