Bonnie Jean Wagner, 82 of Rushville, passed away on September 12, 2019 in Rushville. She was born on October 16, 1936 in New Palestine, IN to the late George "Jack" and Myrtle (Ritenour) Brandenburg. Bonnie was a 1954 graduate of Morristown High School. She married James Wagner on May 10, 1956 and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2001. Bonnie was a member of the Arlington Christian Church for 56 years.
She retired from Superior General Insurance in the booking records. Bonnie enjoyed playing piano and listening to old gospel music. She loved canning the food from her own garden. Bonnie will be remembered for the love of time spent with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her loving son, Mike (Kareta) Wagner of Rushville and daughter, Susan Bennett of Rushville; 3 grandchildren, Kyla (Alex) Shaver, Krista (Matt) Richey, and Brian (Maggie) Cameron; 6 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Richey, Austin Richey, Addalynn Richey, Brylee Shaver, Preslee Shaver, and Kinze Cameron.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Jimmy Brandenburg; sister, Janet L. Brandenburg; and son-in-law, James Bennett.
Services will be held on Monday September 16, 2019 at 10 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor's Gary Holt and Rick Kemple presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family on Sunday, September 15 from 2-5 PM in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to Arlington Christian Church.

I remember her and now she's in heaven with our father God.may she RIP always and forever..im also from rushville and my parents Ladd & Betty Burkhardt owned the furniture store there in in town..i live in West Virginia now with my best friend..but many prayers for ur family..
