Beulah M. Jackson, 92, a long time Rush County resident, went to her Heavenly home on August 14, 2017 in Greenfield. Beulah was born November 22, 1924 in Henry County to Ernest Edwin & Mabel (Bean) Brewer. She married Edward G. Jackson on October 30, 1943 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 1993.
Beulah had lived on the same farm in Rush County since 1959. She was a dedicated farmer's wife & homemaker. She was a 59 year member of the Center Christian Church where she was involved in the WCTU, Loyal Workers, prayer bridge and sharing meals committee. She enjoyed cross stiching, doing word search puzzels, playing board games and playing card games. Beulah was always great to send cards and make phone calls of encouragement to people in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary (Jim) Noah of Rushville, grandsons, Steve Tompkins of New Castle and Johnny (Dana) Tompkins of Missouri and great grandchildren, Jolie, Cody, Colt and Skyler Tompkins. Beulah was preceded in death by a son, Larry Edward Jackson in 1959, brothers, Ralph, Harold & Eugene Brewer and sisters, Norma Potter and Julia Healey.
Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Darryl Denney presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 4-8 PM Friday. Burial will be in the Glencove Cemetery in Knightstown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center Christian Church.
