Betty Belle (Wood) Patton, 86, of Rushville, passed away on Nov. 9, 2016. She was born on Aug. 22, 1930 in Mt. Olivet, KY to the late William B. and Pearl (Collins) Wood. Betty was a 1950 graduate of Deming High School in Mt. Olivet, KY. She married her loving husband, David Lloyd Patton II on April 11, 1953.
Betty was a member of the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene in Dayton, Ohio in early years and then became a member of the Rushville Church of the Nazarene while residing in Rushville. She retired as a home health care provider after many years of service.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, David Lloyd Patton II of Rushville, IN, sons, Martin J. (Laurie) Patton of Austin, TX, Mark J. Patton of Honolulu, Hawaii, David (Neldine) Patton, III of Rushville, IN, 2 granddaughters, Mikayla Patton and Chase-Than Patto. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Betty is preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Patton, a brother, William B. Wood and sisters, Joyce Fryman and Bernice Ryian.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Moster Mortuary, with services following at 3 p.m. in the mortuary with Pastor Todd Reynolds presiding. Burial will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio, with Pastor Aaron Chester presiding.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rushville Church of the Nazarene.
