Anna K. (Kay) Ruhlman, 89 of Florida passed away on July 17, 2017 in Sarasota, FL. Kay was born on October 22, 1927 in Rushville, IN to the late Merle and Audrey (Nuckles) Wilson. She was a 1946 Rushville High School Graduate. She married Bernard Hebson in 1951 and spent several years in Augsburg, Germany where her husband was serving in the United States Army. Upon return to the United States of America , they moved to North Miami, FL and then to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
She accepted employment at Burdines Department Store. Later, after Bernard's death, she moved to Fort Myers, FL where she became Human Resource Manager and shortly thereafter assumed the same job overseeing three west coast Florida stores. In 1990, Kay married Richard (Dick)Ruhlman, who was a former high school classmate. They retired and lived in Sarasota, FL.
Kay is survived by her loving husband, Richard (Dick) Ruhlman; children, Laura (Don) Clark and Lynne ( Jim) Durborow, Kathleen (Don) Pelley, Donald (Suzanne) Ruhlman and Robert (Lori) Ruhlman and seven grandchildren.
Graveside Services are to be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11 AM in East Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Jeremy Gries presiding. Moster Mortuary is entrusted with the services for Kay.
